We have been busy creating the new Wine menu. It's done, and it's great. Come in and check it out. Everybody had a lot ot good things to say last night. My staff has encouraged me to liquidate some stock in order to make things a little easier. We have sales throughout the store. This weekend is the Playoffs. It's been a 50/50 love hate relationship with Brett Favre. Some of you love to see him keep throwing touchdowns, and some of you want to see him hit the turf. You keep the glass. 5 - Course Menu Paired with a different wine for each course, hand picked by me. 1st course - Spinach salad with oranges, candied walnuts, tomatoes, bleu cheese and hot bacon dressing.
2nd course - Crab stuffed portabella mushroom. 3rd course - 9 oz. Coldwater lobstertail with clarified drawn butter. Normally the tails are only 5 oz. These will be 9 oz. tails just for Valentines Day. (these are normally $42 each alone) 4th course - Bacon wrapped chateaubriand steak. 5th course - Chocolate ganache sauce, raspberries in sabayon sauce and chocolate covered strawberries. Wine Tasting Saturday January 23rd Noon - 3 P.M. Neuberg Wine Company We will be featuring some Reserve wines from Argentina, and they are awesome. Normally I wouldn't tell you this now, however John
Neuberg won't be able to be here this weekend. He just had
shoulder surgery, and our thoughts for a speedy recovery are with him.
